Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Linglo PTE ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Description

Linglo PTE is a free practice tool for PTE Academic exam preparation. It provides reading and listening exercises with automated grading and AI-generated explanations.

3. Accounts

• You need an account to save your progress.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We may refuse registration, reclaim usernames, or require identity or ownership verification where reasonably necessary.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Copy, redistribute, mirror, resell, or exploit the Service or its content beyond personal study use
• Interfere with the Service's infrastructure
• Probe, scan, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or test the vulnerability of the Service except as expressly permitted by law
• Use the Service to build a competing dataset, product, or service
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party rights

5. Content

Questions, practice materials, scores, and explanations are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are not official exam materials, legal advice, professional advice, or a guarantee of exam performance. Automated grading and generated explanations may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information and should not be treated as authoritative.

As between you and us, the Service's overall structure, interface, features, branding, analytics presentation, generated explanations, and our editorial or curation work are owned by or licensed to Linglo PTE. Source materials, original question text, trademarks, and other third-party content may be owned by their respective rights holders. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you except the limited right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial study purposes.

You may not reproduce, republish, systematically extract, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service content beyond personal study use, whether manually or through automated means.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third-party providers, including hosting, authentication, analytics, and infrastructure vendors. We are not responsible for downtime, data loss, policy changes, pricing changes, or acts or omissions of third-party services, and your use of those services may also be subject to their separate terms and policies.

7. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is," "as available," and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be available at all times
• Scores or grading will be identical to actual PTE results
• AI explanations are always accurate
• The Service will be secure, error-free, or free from harmful components
• Any defects will be corrected within a particular timeframe

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linglo PTE and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, business opportunities, exam outcomes, or service interruptions arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of USD $50 or the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you use the Service for free, you agree that your sole remedy is to stop using it.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Linglo PTE and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your misuse of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

10. Changes

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after the updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Service, delete content associated with your account, or take technical or legal measures we consider appropriate if we believe you have violated these terms, created risk for us or others, or if continued operation of the Service is no longer practical.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnity, and dispute-related provisions.

12. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
